Tell us about your goals
I started because I have a passion for making women feel beautiful. I specialize in nail art and nail care. I pride myself on the amount of time I take on each client to make sure their needs are met. I love what I do, and I have an awesome client retention because of it. In the future, I would like to share my brand with the world. I would like to have my own retail boutique, with skin care, apparel, etc.

Describe your mission passion
God’s Word. We were are destined for greatness, but somewhere along the line, we lost ourselves. His Word said we are above and not below, the head and not the tail. I know that if I keep my focus on Him, I’ll be unstoppable.
- What was the most fulfilling moment that happened to you?
What is it that you love most about what you do?
Opening my salon suite in December of 2017. It might not be a storefront, but I’m getting there, little by little!
- What was the hardest/toughest moment you had to deal with?
Obstacles you faced when dealing with bureaucracy, permits, funding, etc. Something you would like to point out to anyone who might be starting their own organization.
No support from family, earning a bachelor’s and working full time while taking care of my daughter by myself.
- What separates you from the rest? Why you?
When it comes to nails, the industry is dominated by Asians. I have worked alongside then for 6 years. Their mentality is quantity over quality. So if they get 20 customers in that day they are happy, regardless of what the client’s nails look when they leave. I’m quality over quantity, and that’s why I build up a clientele so quickly.
- Are you involved in local community, and if yes, how?
Yes, through my church, Abundant life in Margate.
- Where do you see your business in 5 years?
I definitely see myself with a storefront and a boutique selling apparel and other products with my brand name on it. I will have lots of employees.
I also want my brand to be just as recognizable as the McDonald’s brand or the Burger King brand.
