Homes For Our Troops is a national nonprofit that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.

We were founded in 2004.

  1. Does your organization offer any special activities, events, promotions or any gatherings?

Let us know of any recently achieved, current and forthcoming events planned and implemented

We have three events for each build – a Community Kickoff, a Volunteer Day, and a Key Ceremony. The Community Kickoff starts off the process and introduces the Veteran to the community. The Volunteer Day is when the community is invited to help with the landscaping of the Veteran’s home. The Key Ceremony is when we award the Veteran with the keys to their home.
